iPhone scope Cool or not?

Cool, I always wanted to text the old lady, shoot and drive at the same time.

But I bet it makes great "I just shot the neighbor's cat" videos.

can't wait to see you dump that thing in a barrel ;)

I'd be really surprised if it held any kind of zero

I would be surprised if the iPhone survived the recoil, but if it gets Feegee into a new phone I am all for it.

What does it cost? I'm about ready to upgrade my iPhone.
I've dropped my phone enough times in the otter box to give it the recoil test. Still hanging in there!

Spend some time on a help desk phone line and you will never ever want to see a phone again. Give me a GPS beeper to hit if a bear doesn't maul me enough.

I didn't say I wanted one I just wanted to know if it was cool or not?

Its interesting for sure. I talked to the guys at the IShot booth at S.H.O.T. Show. It just attaches to your existing scope, so there is nothing to zero or lose zero. My Iphones have been pretty durable, I doubt it would be an issue on moderate calibers. One of my distributors carries them. They run around 80 bucks retail.

I don't see any existing scope in the pic. from the best I can tell, there's a mount that goes on your rifle & the phone snaps in & out like a in a belt carrier. The app installed on the phone uses ballistics calcs & records the shot etc., but the camera on the phone is what you're using for the "scope".

Wall, my mistake. I dont think the picture at the top showed up when I made the last comment. This is the setup I was referring to: http://www.theiscope.com/
This one makes alot more sense. The other looks like it just uses the phones zoom for the "scope"
