Quite frankly I'm surprised the attacker didn't get shot . It didn't look like any of the "security" had guns .

He must not have had one in the pipe and bumped the mag release on his way up to the podium because he couldn't get one loaded real quick either. Where is the security for an event like this. Watching those old farts slap and kick at him makes me think he could have just got up and bullied his way to the door.

Eastern Europe is a rough place to be in politics. All-out brawls in parliament are surprisingly common. This just went down in the Ukraine. Vitaly Klitschko is actually a Ukranian parliamentarian but he stayed out of it (booooo!) IDK if the Croatian parliament ever had a brawl when Cro Cop was in.

Maybe the reason this guy didn't have better security is that you're just expected to beat up attackers yourself.
