Regular match will be held with 6 stages for about 100 rounds. Shotgun squadding sign in starts at 8:30, 1st squads out at 9 and final squad out at 10AM.

Is this a team or "squad" only event or can an individual come out and compete? Do you have to be a member of any type of gun club or association to compete?

No anyone can come first time shooters of idpa at ussa shoot free. Bring a cover garment

Would a loose fitting button down shirt be considered a cover garment?

Also, do I need to be a member of the IDPA to compete? I just want to come out and try it to see if I like it/how I do.

Will two mags be enough? I know I will need about 100 rounds but in terms of loaded mags will 2 be enough?

Yes a button shirt will be fine. No you dont have to be a member of idpa to shoot. What gun are you shooting? You should be able to get by with 2 but 3 would be best.

I will be shooting a 7+1 single stack Officer size Para Ordnance 1911.

Ideally I would like to be shooting a higher cap gun, but its all I got in the way of handguns currently.
