A lot of folks got a certificate for Ibejihead bullets from the Nationals prize table.
I had never heard of them. I have no idea how to pronounce the name.
But I used my cert to order up some bullets, and I thought I'd do a quick review.

They have online ordering at:

Several other bullet sources I've tried lately show 'out of stock' or 18 week lead time.

2 hours after I placed my order with Ibejiheads I had an order confirmation. I had a usps tracking number for my shipment the next moring. It took 6 days for the priority mail package to arrive from New Jersey. Thats shameful, but its the Post Office's fault, not the bullet maker. I blame New Jersey.

I ordered a 135gr 9mm round nose bullet. Not a very common thing. They're coated bullets, and the coating is a weird blue color. I weighed and measured quite a few of them. The were .3555 in diameter and weighed 134.6gr. They were very consistent. $86 per K shipped is an ok price.

With my CZ, I have to be careful with OAL (CZ's have short chambers, and I've never had mine reamed) With JHP's for instance, I run an OAL of 1.105 max. This round nose bullet can probably be loaded really long.

I'm still developing the perfect load. It turns out that these bullets are fast. I had dialed my powder charge back a little (.3gr) from my plated load, but todays chrono session still produced 40-50 fps more.

Smoke was a non-issue...about the same as plated, not as much as BBI, etc...way less smoke than lead.

I'll reduce the PC a bit more, (and lengthen the OAL too) until I get the perfect velocity.

POI matched POA, and the groups were acceptable at 10, 15, and 25 yards.

FWIW, my load for Xtreme 135's:

4.1gr Vit N320 at 1.125 985fps (132pf)

My Ibejihead load:

3.8gr Vit N320 at 1.126 1025fps (137pf...too much)

Anyway, they're good to go. I'll be ordering more.
I really like that they have a 135gr bullet, and the fact that its a round nose is a bonus.

I'll prob stick with Xtreme plated bullets when they are available.
I'd still like to find an affordable lead bullet for practice, but I havent had any luck with lead.

Positives:
Online ordering (unlike bayou bullets)
In stock (unlike precision delta, Xtreme, and others)
They sponsored the Nationals.
They have a 135gr bullet and they sell it to regular shooters (unlike BBI)
It's a round nose bullet, not a truncated cone.
No smoke (unlike lead)
No tumbling (unlike lead)

Negatives:
Whats up with that name? Ibejiheads? Huh?
They're a strange blue color.

As always, YMMV.

They burned down! I had an order in since March 20, 2026. They billed me the same day. I already paid the CC bill. Last week, when I hadn't heard from them since the order, I received a call just one day after calling them for the fourth time. I was told that their factory burned down a few days before. I expressed my condolences and asked them why my almost 2 month old order didn't make it out the door, especially since my CC was charged the same day the order was submitted. All they said was that they were going to have to "work on" getting monies back to the customers...
