Okay, not a major match, but I finally took first overall at my club's monthly USPSA match. It was my first foray away from Production and I shot Limited Minor, and took it. Not having to reload three times in a stage is great. I may shoot my Glock 41 in Production now and then when I get a chance to load some rounds. .45 ACP making minor PF. Something tells me I'm going to need a lighter recoil spring.

It does feel good. I normally win first or second in Production and usually win the centerfire pistol categories in Steel Challenge, but this is my first overall win. First, a club level match. Next? First overall at the Generation 3 Gun match!!! I have A LOT of people I'm going to need to tape to trees a couple days prior to that if I'm going to win. Time to get started.
