Shot the Steel Challenge at Ponca Saturday.
I'm one that shoots from right to left. Was really consistant in my times, but hearing some "sage advice" from one of the other shooters decided to try it for the last round. Totally screwed me up and I lost 2 seconds from the previous times. Potential 4th to 8th.... Stay with the plan!!

Dennis, shooting your own game is extraordinarily important... I fall into the trap of trying to shoot as fast as other shooters or attempting a stage plan that doesn't work for me a lot. When I do shoot my own game things tend to go relativley well.

Having said this I will quickly admitt that I am fortunate to get tons of great shooting adivce pretty much everytime out. The thing to do in my humble opinion, is to incorporate new things into practice to see how they work out for you specifically. I know that some of my stage breakdowns aren't techincally the best or fastest but they are generally what works for me. In flight corrections are a recipe for disaster if you are me. lol.
