A while back, I bought the 16up dual load system on the nylon strap. The description said it is actually two of the 8up systems and can be removed from the strap and put on a competition belt. Yeah, not so much. The system is eight 2up brackets and the screws are entirely too short to mount on my ELS belt. I looked on their website and the 8up bare system looks promising, but I didn't see anywhere saying they sell the mounting plates by themselves if I already have the actual shell holders. Has anybody dealt with this system? I just saved about a hundred bucks by McGyvering some Fobus pistol mag pouches onto ELS brackets, so I'm tempted to try to weasel my way into a Carbon Arms Backbone system or the AP Custom load two platform, but I'd rather use what I have and spend the money on reloading components for more live practice. Thanks in advance for any information or assistance.

Call Tim at Taccom, he's very helpful & easy to work with

Tim is great. He was on vacation and still called me back to discuss an issue i was having with one of their barrels. (100% operator error)

I had to add longer screws to mount them to the Bladetech TMMS set up. Only complaint I have about using them in the TMMS is that have to I add a center hole to the backer so I can use the center hole on the mount. But that takes all of 30 seconds.

Well that was easy. I called Tim as instructed and he's going to send me two 8UP backer plates so I can get rid of the web strap. Very accomodating.
