Well went and shot at H&H last night since I'd like to have something besides "U" for my classification, had a good time but after looking at the scores I figured out that while you can try to shoot faster than you should and while it makes ya feel awesome to zip thru a stage if you don't make good hits it doesn't matter much! yipper I still have a lot to learn.

I need to work on my loads as I think I can drop the powder charge as the little G23 is a touch hard to control the sights when trying to run faster flippy little sucker.

I sucked at it but really liked the dark stage and found out that the G23 with my loads has more flash than an open pistol! first time to really shoot the pistol in the dark.

Well all in all I'm going to like this USPSA and while the pistol is fun we need more 3-gun as well it rocks! shotguns are SO much fun. Later,

Kirk

I have an 11lbs recoil spring you can use. It will keep the gun flat, and I don't think you risk battering with the light and small slide you have. And you're right about the speed vs. hit factor. Hits are very satisfying, but it's tough to gauge the time when you're rushing.
