HOLY CRAP!, US Steel Nationals

2014 US Steel Challenge Nationals concluded today.
Max won with a record score.

But, Holy Crap, 2nd place ...The Burner.
He hasnt shot a match in yeeeeeears

To come out of competition retirement, and almost win a National Championship, whew.

If you dont know who The Burner is, this post probably doesnt make any sense to you.
But he (Jerry Barnhart) has at least 10 National Championships in numerous disciplines.
He was winning Championships back in the 80's. He put out those awesome instructional videos where he shot tracers;-)
He quit competing years ago to train LE/MIL shooters.

Neat stuff. Old guys rule.

That's awesome! I still have the Burner 10 VHS set that I purchased years ago, he was the best. Nice to see him back on the circuit

He's been training hi speed operators for the last several years. I saw his name on max Jr's fb page and got all excited. I have always thought he was top shelf

The old record was 80+. That's pretty crazy! U think Max was a little more relaxed with KC pushing him like years past? Shooting relaxed is always faster.
