HI point. 45 carbine sniper?

Found this while reading earlier. Thought some of you would enjoy it.

I Took a Hi-Point 45 acp carbine on active combat duty in Afghanistan.
Don’t go diva on me. I was able to trade “stuff” to acquire a mil issue reflex scope and midrange scope with VERY expensive quick change.
It performed AWESOME at takedowns, sniper at 350 yards or less. one round seemed to always knockdown n end that person’s fight.
Breaching was fun shooting from the hip was easy."

Who has load data on that 45 ACP sniper round?

I have an old surplus 1911 I'd like to use on the 100 yd plates and possibly coyote hunting.

I find that 45 acp at 350 little hard to believe. A 16 inch barrel with 165 grain will drop over 10 feet at 350 yards and have a speed of 950 fps and 335 foot pounds . Hardly a knock down power I would be comfortable with. Why not use your 556? I'm not doubting you, but that poor coeficent Blunt end 45 has very poor accuracy at that distance.
