Just signed up. Born in Charleston, and I've lived in the area except for a few years in Columbia for some education. 
Found out about the board via a Facebook post from D&R Gunsmithing about the upcoming Shootzenfest. Also been friends with Survival Dave for several years. Got a chance to learn some good things from him and his late, Green Beret father-in-law while spending a few days away from civilization a couple years ago.
