Loved seeing Fort William Henry and the surrounding wilderness before, upstate can almost make you forget where you are!

As a refuge from NJ, I can certainly assest to the beauty of NY State. Too bad about the laws....

BTW: You are NOT required to inform LE when carrying a loaded gun in your glovebox or center console. And you don't even need a permit to do that!!

Once you own real property in SC you can apply for a permit (you are showing intent to move to SC).

Well as of last Monday "Operation Escape From New York" as I call it was successfully executed. I am now officially a resident of Greenville, SC and lovin' it!

Thanks muchly.

Unfortunately with the expense of moving and all the little tedious expenses still left to take care of (especially the DMV stuff) it will be a while before I can actually afford to get out and actually enjoy things much. Still I already feel like it was the right move for a lot more reasons than firearms related ones.
