heavy gun - how DO you keep your pants up?

I bought a 1.5" all leather belt from Carolina Rod and Gun for around $30-$40 that I've been using for almost two years now. Works perfectly, and is comfortable!

380 S()KS, 9mm not that much better.

With MY HEAVY gun, Colt Government Model 45, i just tighten up and use a small pancake type holster at an angle.

how did i go from shooting animals to chest shots?

i am a hunter. an ethical hunter so i dont use a 45 to hunt.

after 100 years of use on humans i believe the COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL 45 has made a statement.

2 to the chest, one to the head
if he had on a vest, he will still be dead.

im a poet

I paid about $30ish at Carolina Rod and Gun a few years ago for a 1.5" solid brown leather ( there are "leather" manufacturers who use a paper mache in the center with a very thin layer of leather on both sides which will break if used for guns so be careful when choosing ) and it's been serving me strong for quite some time; I don't need to tighten it to the point of crushing me when carrying my full-size HK P30 and with the UBG Holster I use it just becomes a part of you and makes for a comfortable combination.

I put a 3" long # 10 stainless steel screw in the top edge of my right hip bone and I hang my 1911 holster on it. :mrgreen:
