i vote that jesse, chambers, Jeremy, all have to not only draw from concealment, but while wearing a shirt, sweater and jacket, because they are too fast, everyone else can do what they want...

how many rounds in a stage, will a 1911 compact be okay to shoot? Anything special i will need. If i can get off work early i want to come to the match. I will be a newbie so sorry for all the ? i will be coming from lawton so i want to bring every thing i will need.

usually 18 rounds per stage, 4 stages, you don't need anything special, this is a very accessible match.. 1911 is fine, just have enough mags to handle 18-22 rounds....

Lots of people have the same questions you have so don't worry about that. Also don't worry if you don't think you have the "right gear". If you have 3 magazines that should get you through any stage. You might be close if they only hold 6 but I think officers hold 7 don't they?
If you don't have a mag pouch don't even worry about that. i carry mine in my back pocket. They do like for you to have a good holster that covers the trigger. Other than that you really don't need much special gear. Now you may want some later but don't sorry about it right now.
They are very new shooter friendly. If you bring your "avatar" we will be even more friendly

If you miss that much we will probably all just leave...turn off the lights and lock the doors. About the only thing that ever gets shot at "extra" is those danged round plates he likes to hang up.
