Without exception:

Every single gun law is illegal and violates both the intent and the specific wording of the US Constitution.

The end-game for gun regulation is total disarmament.

The purpose of the proposed "Gun Insurance" in California is identical to the reasoning behind the $200 tax, per item, under the 1934 National Firearms Act. These financial encumberances are designed to prevent gun ownership by pricing guns outside of the realm of affordability by more and more Americans.

Special interest groups, i.e. Hollywood, rich people and law enforcement, support gun bans for a very simple reason: they are exempt.

Ever wonder how it is possible that new manufacture and registry of machineguns ended in May of 1986 but if you watch the latest Bruce Willis vehicle you will see plenty of machineguns made after 1986?

Ever wonder how Personal Security Details (PSDs) for senators or tycoons are allowed to have M249s, HK416s, MP7s, Glock 18s, et al?

People support the stripping of Civil Rights from people as long as they, themselves, are protected. We saw this with blacks during the last century and it was unacceptable. Why is it magically acceptable now that, instead of there being racial criteria, the unifying exclusion is posession of a firearm?

All of us know, or actually are that person, plenty of gun owners that support and encourage anti-gun laws as long as it doesn't affect them.

Examples:

- I don't have kids so I support "No Guns In Schools."
- I don't eat at restaurants so I support "No Guns in Places That Serve Alcohol."
- I don't go to social events so I support "No Guns at Events that Charge Admission."
- I don't like machineguns so I support the 1986 "The Constutiton Sucks" bill.
- I don't like rifles that can accomodate bayonets so I support the 1994 "Assault Weapons Bill."
- I don't like foreign stuff so I support presidential import bans. (Bush, Obama)

The UK NRA made the mistake of thinking that people that ban guns actually will stop. When you make "sensible gun laws" and make concessions like "we will ban this and this so that we can keep this and that" then eventually you marginalize gun ownership so that eventually there is no one left to fight for our Civil Rights.

No gun law should exist. They all should be overturned. The same is true of knives, dirks, blackjacks, daggers, and other "deadly weapons"
