FS: Project - Western Field Model 31 .22 *TRADED*

For sale is a Western Field Model 31 .22lr tube load. This rifle is missing the bolt and the feeder for the tube. Overall good condition, but the finish is worn in a few spots and is actually a dark walnut color. It shows up a little darker in this picture. I thought someone might be looking for a cheap project or maybe this little rifle will bring back some memories for someone who had one. I did some research and found that It is the same as a Mossberg Model R. It was the last of the letter designations given to a .22 rimfire by Mossberg. Production dates fell into the 1930-1932 range for Montgomery Wards. $30 FTF in Charleston area.
