for pics. Pics were taken as the rifle came out-of-box and before cleaning and a light coat of BLO on the very dry wood. (BLO would have been the proper finish on this rifle). Looks better in person.

May 1942 SA receiver & bolt. 1951 SA barrel in good shape. WRA op rod and trigger group. Decent condition walnut stock and related metal. Marked RRA for Red River Arsenal re-arsenal work after WWII.

Asking $1500 on armslist. Here, make me a realistic offer. Last one I had sold for $1300. Comes with hard case, 1 (one) clip, docs & cert, chamber flag.

FWIW, before someone chimes in "get it at CMP for less", if you qualify for CMP rifle sales, this is true and I would recommend it. BUT. I ordered this puppy in November. NOVEMBER. Last time I talked to CMP they had orders for 10,000 rifles and about 2,000 rifles left. So...

Normal caveats: FTF Charleston area, SC DL or CWP. Or, mil ID with PCS orders here. Or, we can go through Henry; I'll pay the fee.

I saw this on AL, wish I had the cash layin around. Good luck with sale.

Should mention, from a forumer I'd take trades + cash.

Interested in:
Springfield 1903 in decent condition
Arisaka Type 99 in good condition, mum pristine worth more of course
Mauser 98k in good condition - not late war (ie, pre-1943)
Enfield in good condition
.22 target pistol (Ruger Mk II or similar, or old High Standard with longer barrel)
Revolver in .22 WMR, all steel, 6" or longer barrel
Sig P226, older German-made, in 9mm
M&P Full size in 9mm
Remington 11-87 in great condition

For the WWII stuff, when I say good condition I'm looking for a shooter with at least 75% finish on the metal and sound wood. Some battle marks, etc. OK. I'll take worse condition but worth less commensurate to how much work to be a shooter and historically accurate. No Mosins, AKs, SKSs, Schmidt-Rubins, Mannlichers. Otherwise if it's WWII era or shortly before/after let me know what you've got.

For newer stuff, I'm looking at used valuations so please don't offer me a Sig 226 straight for the Garand.

Need to clear enough cash for some Form 1s and a Suppressor.
