My daughter's house is very close to the path of the latest Moore tornado. It blew down a couple of very large oak trees. At least I'm pretty sure they are an oak of some sort but I'm not sure which specific type. Someone told her that the largest one is at least 200 years old. If anyone is interested in taking this wood it's free. I would have to assume that the trunk would have some value if someone had access to a sawmill or a way to saw it. It's freaking huge! The only catch is that access to the backyard is pretty limited. A Kawasaki Mule, Polaris RZR, John Deere Gator, etc. and a small trailer will get back there but that's about it. And you are gonna need a really big chainsaw, probably at least a 24" one. If interested PM me me and I'll get you the details. Here are some pics.
