Sure that would be great. If you don't mind.Dustin Cantrell said:If you want I can mail you a headspace gauge if you'll mail it back to me when finished.
How do you like the Troy set? Are they spring loaded? I was looking at those with the DOA rear sight.CrtsHarris said:I got a Troy flip up iron sights from Larue. A little pricey, but they won't melt. I had to adjust my Adams Arms Piston a few times til it cycled properly and now it flings brass 20 feet at the 4 O'clock. Nice weapon you built!!
That sight looks like a good light weight peice. I like the MI and Troy sets, too. Not bad for the price.CrtsHarris said:http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/sights/rear-sights/tritium-rear-sight-sku080000523-25147-53030.aspx?sku=080-000-523&sp_rid=MzM2MTg1MDU0MzgS1&sp_mid=4769615&spMailingID=4769615&spUserID=MzM2MTg1MDU0MzgS1&spJobID=144436485&spReportId=MTQ0NDM2NDg1S0
Just got the flyer today for this sight and it's on sale. Not familiar with it but it's another option. All steel so it won't melt and tritium night sight.
The Troy sights are very solid and low profile if you wanted to mount a scope over them. After I bought a scope though, I was really considering an offset sight so that I wouldn't have to remove the scope to use them. Problem solved when I bought the Swaro Z6I and now I don't have to worry about close in shots with iron sights, being that the Swaro has an awesome 1:1.StealthESW said:How do you like the Troy set?
