Two matches at Oil Capital this weekend!!!
Saturday: ProAm
Sunday: Steel Challenge
So get the handle cranking and run quickly to wally world because that is a lot of darn shooting.
John Oxford has again agreed to run the ProAm match for you guys on Saturday. As most of you know, this is probably the most fan match anywhere. John will start setting up at 7:30 and your help is greatly appreciated.
I will be back in town on Saturday and will be taking care of the Steel Challenge match on Sunday.
Signups start at 9:30am, and shooting at 10:00am.
$20 to shoot, $15 for OC members, and as always, free of charge to LEOs and active military. $5 for a second gun.
6 stages with the following divisions: Center fire pistol iron sights, center fire pistol open, revolver, rimfire pistol iron sights, rimfire pistol optics, rimfire rifle iron sights, rimfire rifle optics. Anybody interested in participating with a 9, 40, or 45 carbine is welcome to do so (no necked cartridges.)
Round count will be around 200.
ProAm has all dropping steel targets, with a secondary match with a couple of tactical stages for sequencing purposes as well. These will serve as our tie breaker. Lots of movement and reloads, but still 22 friendly.
Will have COFs later this week.
If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match (please don't put targets on the ground; we take them apart as we load them on to the trailer- much easier than picking them off the ground.)
Please note the speed limit in our club roads. if you can see dust or a rooster-tail behind you, you are going too fast (we will squeeze you in a squad even if you show up late.)
Remember we have plaques for 1st place winners (I know we owe several of you some of these; I'll bring them with me.)
