So, I bought one of these and the instructions state to set the pin to create a good Swage by "trial and error" until you can easily seat a primer. I set it up, but it seems like the new primers almost go in too easy (hornady hand primer). Are the supposed to go in real smooth or should there be some force? Is it possible to over-Swage a case?

Yes, it is possible to "over swage". Some reloaders sort their brass by head stamps and set if specifically for that. I don't and use the trial and error method to get a "happy medium" for any that I load.

When setting up, I Swage a case then prime it. I want it to be at the point that I will feel some resistance when seating the primer. I have over swaged and felt no resistance. I tap the rim of the case on a hard surface and the primer falls out. Too much swage.
