Cross Timbers 3-gun Carbine/Shotgun/Pistol Match (March 13, 2011) at JCSSA Range Alvarado, TX

The match will be 5 stages (80 rounds carbine / 25 birdshot, 5 slug rounds shotgun / 60 rounds pistol) with shots ranging from 3 yds to 200 yds. The match will be ran and scored using IMGA rules.

The match details are:
Stage 1 Shotgun / Pistol with shots ranging from 10 to 20 yds
Stage 2 Rifle / Shotgun / Pistol with shots ranging from 3 to 30 yds
Stage 3 Rifle / Pistol with shots ranging from 3 to 15 yds
Stage 4 Rifle / Pistol with shots ranging from 3 to 50 yds
Stage 5 Rifle with shots ranging from 100 to 200 yds
The match starts at 10:00 AM (shooter sign in begins at 9:00).
The cost is $20 per shooter with a discounts for JCSSA and/or CT IDPA membership .
*For those who do not own a shotgun (or forget theirs the day of the match) loner shotguns will be available, but you must provide your own ammo.

From Fort Worth take I-35W south to Alvarado.
Turn right (west) on Hwy 67 toward Cleburne.
Travel about 2 miles, then turn left (south) on CR 810 (Chevron station on the right).
CR 810 deadends into FM 3136. Turn right on FM 3136.
Travel about 1 mile; look for the JCSSA sign and gate on the right.
From Dallas take Hwy 67 south through Alvarado, toward Cleburne.
Pass under I-35W.
Travel about 2 miles, then turn left (south) on CR 810 (Chevron station on the right).
CR 810 deadends into FM 3136. Turn right on FM 3136.
Travel about 1 mile; look for the JCSSA sign and gate on the right.
From Cleburne take Hwy 67 through Keene toward Alvarado.
Turn right on CR 318.
CR 318 deadends into FM 3136. Turn right on FM 3136.

- Handgun ammunition shall be 9x19mm NATO or larger, unless otherwise stipulated under equipment division rules.
- Rifle ammunition shall be 5.45x39mm or larger, unless otherwise stipulated under equipment division rules.
- Shotgun ammunition shall be 20 gauge or larger, unless otherwise stipulated under equipment division rules.
- Birdshot must be no larger than #6 birdshot, and be made from lead or bismuth only. Iron/steel/tungsten birdshot is unsafe and prohibited.
- Ammunition containing tracer, incendiary, armor-piercing, steel jacketed or steel/tungsten/penetrator core projectiles is unsafe and prohibited.

- Participants may elect to use a rimfire conversion kit for their rifle or pistols.
- Rimfire participants will be grouped as a special sub-division of whichever division the non-rimfire equipment qualifies in.

- Handgun holsters must safely retain the handgun during vigorous movement. The belt upon which the handgun holster is attached must be worn at waist level. Shoulder holsters and cross draw holsters are prohibited.
