Have an almost new PSA complete lower. Has a DPMS parts kit and stock..Has a nice trigger...

Have a nice used 4 rail for a carbine. Have rubber covers and all...Real nice.

Have a new barrel I ordered (hasn't arrived yet, but, soon) it is a 16" Mossberg with M4 cuts.

Other AR parts...sight tower, charging handle, factory handguards, few other things...

I really need about $750.00 with new barrel...

Just lower...$400.00

just 4 rail and covers $150.00

New Barrel...$200.00

Small parts $50.00

aLSO, have a 4" pistol buffer system. Tried and it works great...$65.00

Will trade...what you got?????

Steve

its legal to make a pistol out of a lower marked "multi" right?

i might need the pistol buffer system.

Technically you can only assemble a pistol with a lower that has not previously been assembled as a rifle.

Read that as you will.

thanks Mike. sounds like one of the stupidest things list.

if i do it i have uppers that have never had a buffer tube on them.

like "they" would ever know.

First off...that doesn't matter any more, I am told.. You use to register a stripped lower as either a pistol or rifle when you bought it...Now, you just buy the lower and do with it as you please...

There is no way to tell now if it was a rifle or a pistol....That is what I was told at Palmetto Armory when I bought my last lower to build a pistol out of...

How would someone know if a lower was a rifle and someone took the rifle buffer system off and installed a pistol buffer system???? I don't know...and I have had 4 pistols, in the past.

Law as stated still stands, as far as I can research.

There are, however, some logistical issues with said law, as pointed out. Please feel free to read between the lines.

Nope. You can build, legally, any previously unbuilt lower into a pistol. You have to watch your SBR regs regarding stocks and whatnot.

Do you know the MFG of the pistol buffer system? I'm assuming it comes with buffer tube, spring, and buffer?

It was made by Gunsmoke Enterprises. I bought it directly from them because I wanted a really short pistol...

They used to be named GSE. They are in Florida...

I have the complete system and some paperwork with it.

If the 4473 is ever pulled and the "rifle" container is checked for the lower you turned into an "AR" pistol you've got some 'splaining to do. You are likely in possession of an unregistered SBR (10 year felony).

I am leery of ANY private sale lower being turned into a pistol unless I know 100% what was on the 4473. I could care less as it is a stupid law, but that's how the ATF sees it. One of Pres Obama's gun control EOs requires any weapon that fed LEOs take possession of to have a trace done (i.e. to pull the 4473). So if you ever use you nifty AR pistol in a defensive shooting expect the 4473 will be scrutinized.

Skip to the 2004 letter posted by Don Ferrando for the ATF's take:

Looks like some good AR stuff, if the pistol buffer is still available when I get back to SC I may look into it!

form 4473 is supposed to be destroyed after some amount of time, right?

otherwise guns would be regerstered now.

i will take the pistol buffer set up for 65, i sent you an pm as well
let me know and thanks

I really need about $750.00 with new barrel...

So, what you have is a complete rifle minus what? Stripped upper, upper parts kit, BCG? Did I read you right? Do you know the brand/length of the quad rail, and is it drop-in or free float?

Well...first off...I now have a brand new 16" barrel that was delivered today. Here is what I do not have:

1) No stripped upper
2) No bolt carrier group
3) No small parts kit for the upper
4) No flash hider

What I have is a new 16" M4 barrel. A 2 piece 4 rail. It is a nice one, but there is no name inside or out. Have complete rubber covers for 4 rail. It is a 7" carbine rail. I have a front sight tower with sight. I have a charging handle.

That is it for the upper.
The price , of course, has went up because I now have a new barrel....The barrel, with shipping was about $175.00.

I have the complete PSA lower with a DPMS build kit in it. Has a great trigger.

I have an extra stock...

Have a pistol buffer....but, it has been spoken for...

Hope this clears up some questions...

Any more questions...call me
