I recently declined to renew my subscription to "Guns & Ammo" magazine. Although it's a very good magazine, I was sick of being bombarded with news of the latest plastic pistols, black and all metal rifles and information on the wondrous new calibers that would obviate the desire for the .30-'06 and the .45 ACP; such dinosaurs.
I am enjoying mightily the photos here, largely of a handgun designed and first built 110 years ago and still made almost entirely in an equally old caliber. Some things are too good to change.
