Colorado Gun Storage

I'm moving to Colorado next week and will be living on a university campus until I find a house. Does anyone know of a LGS or pawn shop that would let me store my guns (for a fee of course) for a month or three? Anywhere near Denver...but outside of Denver county as pretty much everything I own is against the law in that wonderful town.

FYI, I found Colorado Gun Vault which is very secure but full with a wait list and Extra Space Storage that allows weapons storage. Colorado has strict transfer laws that I'm going to have to learn...seems to be a (expensive) pain in the ass.

How many firearms are we talking about needing to store (estimate)?

You might be able to have them shipped directly to you once you get settled. If I remember correctly, if you seal them up and address them to yourself, you can basically ship them to your door. I know there is a caveat in a CFR that allows you to do this.

Well, since I lost everything in a boating accident a few years back...

I put the majority in a secure storage in OK so I don't have as far to go when I get a house. The rest I'll call MGT or go with a inside access self storage facility (and increase my insurance).
