Long-time lurker, finally actually joined. Been a 1911 fanatic since I was a kid. Have my Dad's Colt G.I. 1911A1 issued to him while flying P47s & P38s in WW-II. First pistola was a Colt LW Commander .45. Spent almost all of my off=duty time tearing down 1911s for Armand Swenson while I was TDY to Temecula, CA in the late '70s and living in Fallbrook... Glad to be here.
