Carrygun Match at Heartland Feb 20th !

Re-check, are you still talking about baby 380's?
If yes, are holsters required?
If yes then I can't play.
No holster.

I am talking about shooting a sub-compact 9mm but the baby .380 (i.e. LCP, Kel-Tec) will all be in the sub-compact division, I think?

David, and I right about that?

My friend and I will both be shooting subs. G27 for me and whatever the .45 cal sub Glock is numbered.

Yes, .380's shoot in "Subcompact," unless their size bumps them to another division.

A holster is NOT required (tho highly, highly recommended) as you can start from "low ready."

If this is what you need to do, when it's your turn, bring the gun in a box or case to the line. ONLY when told to "Make Ready," take the gun out and make it ready. For our purposes, "low ready" is defined as holding the gun in both hands, arms extended at a 45 degree angle, finger OFF trigger. Any safeties, if required, ARE engaged.

After you finish the stage, we'll have the box or case brought to you so you can put the gun in it.

BE VERY AWARE OF THE 180 RULE!

Who else is in for shooting sub-compacts?

Mike? Shannon?

Sure, I'm game. I will shoot the pm9 but may shoot with the CT laser attached so technically will be in the pll division. I can get Shannon to shoot her pinkified pm9 without the CT and see how we do with or without. I'm sure she will probably beat me and ruin my laser is better for concealed carry theory. Got a sweet appendix carry for the pm9 with laser that a certain holster maker we all know made for me.

Do we have to wait until Sunday to see that bad boy?

I'm hoping our certain holster maker does not forget my braveheart holster and 2 mag pouches for my 3" Kimber :D :D

What KIND of stages?

Challenging ones!

I will take 1 or 2 stages from the Concealment Challenge and tweak them a bit, but everyone sure liked them as they were, so maybe I'll run them as is. Which two? I'm not telling!

I HOPE to have a brand new mover, possibly TWO, but they're still in the R&D stage. I plan on going to HO Friday around 8:30 pm to set them up and see what it'll take to make them work as intended. If anyone wants to show up to assist, (and get a sneak peak) that'd be great!

i may come out with you on friday and help... unless something comes up i will see you then....so if you change time or decide not to go be sure to pm me..

Will do. Anyone else?

Bring your gun and some ammo, as I may need to see how many shots are realistic to require on the target.

BUMP for a great match

Are you going to have any moving/charging targets that will run over the shooter, like last time

I know, it was my fault for failing to neutralize him

I heard that David has a harness rigged up so that you have to hang upside down on the track that moves the target up/down range. Upon the start signal someone hits the button and you go hurling down range upside down. We then move targets across your path and you have to shoot them upside down while both of you are moving:)

I am kidding!!! Wouldn't that be fun though?
