I'm going to be there too. Missed shooting last weekend so I need to get my fix this weekend.

Would I be able to shoot my shield in this match with just 1-7 round mag and 2-8 round mags?

Yes three magazines with a total of 23+1 will work.
I shoot a LC9 and have never needed more that three magazines (21+1)for a single stage.

I wasn't there so I don't know how it happen, but it happens to everybody if you shoot enough...

Just keep shooting enough and like you said, just learn from it. Don't let it get you down

Yeah I finished the stage at slide lock and got lackadaisical with my muzzle discipline and broke the 180. Definitely something I will learn from!
