Evan Williams isn't bad but I will stick to Knob Creek or Maker's if I am drinking bourbon. However, a nice single malt scotch is a superior beverage.

Booker's is damn fine bourbon. Second favorite is Baker's followed by Woodford sour mash and Knob Creek.

And I agree with Josh, a good single malt is hard to beat, especially when enjoyed in the land of it's origin. It is truly a crime that the finest Scotch that gets imported pales horribly when compared to what's available in Scotland.

I wasnt impressed by Makers Mark, but I like Knob Creek.
I love Woodfords.
I've had some damn fine single malts with un-pronouncable names in exotic locales.

But when all is said and done, give me a Johnny Walker Blue Label.

I think there is a bottle of scotch in the cabinet that's been there since the 70's.
Never acquired the palette for it.

Irish whisky's, are another thing.

I just studied the bottom of a glass of Makers Mark and determined it was pretty damn good. Better try another just to be sure...
