Ask the semi-pro

Dear Semi-pro,
I know that this has nothing to do with 3-gun, but I don't have anyone else to turn to. I have been married for 29 years and during that time I have to admit that I have not paid attention to men's fashion like I should. However, with the dawn of the open carry era I have to catch up quickly and need your advise. I figure that with the combination of your youth and metro-sexual status you are the perfect person to ask anyway. I'm afraid that I have no idea how to match my guns to my wardrobe. I am extremely concerned that I will have to buy several guns and holsters as a result of this upcoming event. Just how much bling does a well dressed gentleman need in this upcoming environment? I have to assume that it would be a major sin to be caught with a polymer framed gun exposed to the naked eye. I also assume that kydex should not be seen by the general public. With the requirement for retention devices I can only conclude that there will be many options for accessorizing. Does the finish of my holster have to match my belt and shoes? Is it inappropriate to wear a holster that looks like something that Roy Rodgers might have worn? Is white-chrome a major fashion gaff between Memorial Day and Labor Day? Then there is the question of calibers. Since 45ACP was forced upon Saint Browning by the US government, is that the only appropriate caliber to wear to church functions? Would carrying a very large bore be seen as trying to compensate for other short comings? Finally, what is the best way to keep your honey bunny from getting hit in the face by a shoulder holster and magazines during intimate moments?
As you can see I am full of questions, but have no answers to offer. I have many more questions, but I will be considerate with your time.
With warmest regards,
Confused in Moore

Like a true semi pro, you were simply shedding excess baggage.

I am upset the video stopped before I got to see where he reholstered to? Did he simply stuff it in his pants? That was truly the definition of cool under pressure! It was probably much more comfortable than shooting with that duty belt on!

I Mexican carried it to the safe area...

Semi Pros were on fire at 3mr this weekend.

Semi pro tip #203: "If you're shooting open and not shooting like an asshole, you're only shortchanging yourself..."

#204: "That's the good thing about being fat. It teaches you to control your breathing. Or you'll die..."

#205: "You can't wear that (a white shooting glove). It's after Labor Day..."

#206: "Your draw looked like an old man getting out of a warm bath. Work on that..."

Hopefully somebody got video of the shotgun stage. It had all the patented Semi Pro shotgun loading techniques including "makin it rain", "worlds fastest port load" 3 times in a row, "droppin singles" (as opposed to dropping deuces), "select a slug or maybe not". There was even some hip shooting.

Wish I would have been there to demonstrate the "flip, catch and load."
