Had a couple of unusual encounters yesterday afternoon.
Saw what appeared to be a large raccoon lying dead by the highway side. Not so uncommon, right? Well, this one appeared to be either a dirty white or light tan one with no visible markings- an albino raccoon! It was definitely a raccoon too, got a good view of its face and everything. Unusual to see one get so big being an albino!
Then while going to an ATM machine next to a McDonalds, I was accosted by a pair of panhandling seagulls. Couldn't understand their language too welll but I think they wanted french fries. I explained to them that I did not have any but they still kept asking. Once again I told them I had none and asked them if they were going to make a scene when I was about to get out of the car. Well, they moved away once I opened my door and appeared to walk away. After going to the ATM I thought they had left, only to find them waiting near the car for me to return! Guess they figured I had money now and could afford to get them some fries after all...
they were peaceful enough but obviously dissapointed when I gave them a final "no". Must have been Demokrats.
