I was attempting to practice for a while last night. Decided I needed to set a par time and just work on shotgun reloading. I have never been fast but 7 secs was always smooth.

Last night, I couldn't hit the hole. I was flinging shells all over Hell's Half Acre. It didn't matter if I was weak hand reloading or strong hand quad loading. I just sucked.

I tried slowing way down and I still could not find a rhythm.

I am sure I would have had better luck throwing a limp hotdog through a donut hole at 30 yards.

Maybe I need to go back to watching Jesse's videos in my batman underwear and see if that helps.

That's funny I have been there before a bunch of times.
One day you can't fail next day everything is crap.
Just keep trucking

Were you watching the shells into the gun or watching down range while trying to load?

I was watching the shells go into the port or at least start towards the port. I don't know if it was just me trying to beat the buzzer or just a night of the jimmy fingers.

Some days you just cant hit the hole if there was hair around it, same goes for reloading. Weve all been there...right guys.

Seriously though persistence seems to be key.

You've been able to do it in the past? Try it while walking around, you might need something to keep your mind busy while your fingers are stuffing shells.

Back off the speed, a lot. Do it as slow as possible for 10 mins. Just watch yourself do it perfect. Then turn the speed back on.

I like this advice.

I left the timer off and worked weak hand, quad and dropping deuces. Things were a lot more smooth. Hopefully it doesn't show back up next weekend in Nebraska.

Looks like you will only have to load about 7 rounds max in Nebraska so you should be ready.

Yeah, last year I only had to load once and it was on the last stage. I still managed to make that look extra shitty. I may try and look at your port and see how gaped open you have it now. Does it really help with the Quad?
