An excellent way to say it.I went out at dawn to lower the flag to half-mast per flag protocol.
Then at noon, raised it briskly to full staff.
A somber day to remember my brothers and sisters in arms that did not make it home.
We don't celebrate Memorial day, we honor it.
God bless & keep you man.This was me, pushing our last WWII Vet up to the Tomb of the Unknown, at Arlington national Cemetery, to lay a wreath. What an Honor that was.
