Do you have one? It says steel and nylon, I'm assuming they are coated with nylon?

I do have one. they are covered with a plastic/nylon sleeving. I don't have any concerns with this rack. You are ONLY going to damage a crown or barrel bore if you try to damage it. I placed a piece of heat shrink tubing over the coated rods. This gives me an indicator of wear the rack. If and when the heat shrink gets worn, I'll replace it.

I'll have to look into getting one, I really like the look of it.

It looks like it would. The cheapie that I posted above works, but it's flimsy to the outside slots will push out if you dont have the gun centered and it leans. It works, just doesn't look nearly as nice as yours.

I have the individual metal coated ones that you hang from the shelf. This way I can put things on the shelf and hang the pistols under. It gives you like 2xs the space.

I thought about those. I can be a bit of a moose at times, I wanted something a bit idiot proof for me.

My safe came with those, but they are thin and flimsy :(

Had three DWs at one point. I am now down to one, a 9mm specialist!

I hang mine from those coated Z shaped rods that go over the shelf. I also keep a few in one if those coated racks0599B9B5-840C-4A22-9D6C-197CFB17AB71.jpeg
