im not sure this is appropriate for everyone. the doctor is talking to EMTs about their part in getting a patient to the OR.

im not even sure if it should be posted. if it needs to go, mods just take it down.

it is filled with facts that should have a lot to do with our 2nd amendment fight.

as in,
76% of gunshots are from pistols and 6 of 7 survive.
4% are rifles.
compairisons between gun injuries to vehicle injuries, gun deaths to vehicle deaths..........

and then there is the medical part. you dont just fall when shot.........you can survive if the big bleedy parts arent hit.......

just a caution, but it is interesting. makes me want a vest.

Haven't seen it yet, but no need to take it down either. Since you warned people of the content, there is no problem with it. ;)

Now, should I watch it before or after I eat my supper? :?

That was pretty awesome. I saw something similar once that showed the difference between movie gun shots and real life. The statement that really impressed me was that skin is as resistant as up to four inches of muscle.

it didnt ruin my supper. i may have been too cautious.

how about when he says its not like the movies, being shot doesnt knock you down.

a 9mm hits with the force of, forgot what size, weight, being dropped 7 tenths of an inch from the ground.

i guess i picture the force when one hits a block wall.

i have found rifle bullets under the skin of deer on the exit side. i helped a friend skin a bunch at his business.

I'd agree - it's on topic and you gave the NSFW warning.

Very interesting. At first I had a hard time with the guy's accent (kept thinking he was the face-melting guy from Indiana Jones) but good info.

Reminds me of an article I read years ago, akin to this: http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/handgun-stopping-power

TL;DR version: getting shot hurts like a b~tch. Most bad guys will stop doing bad things after being shot once. Unfortunatley, you have to select your caliber/gun for the bad guys who don't stop. To me, looking at the statistics, that means nothing under 9x19.

I truly enjoyed the video. He had some great stuff for sale...

He has convensed me to sell all my pistols and start carrying a conceiled rifle...Time to build another pistol in .223...

Thanks for the Video. Lot of good information. Wound Care use to be a big part of Physical Therapy so I got to work on GSW's. Never had to work on a rifle wound. Now I realize why we didn't get them.

Very good video. Thinking I should go back to my Tokarov for my carry gun again.
