5th Sunday ProAm match this Sunday 6-29-14 at Oil Capital Rod & Gun Club.
Signup starts at 9:30am, and shooting at 10:00am. (We discussed having an earlier start, but with the IDPA Badland's taking place the day before at Oil Capital, I will not be able to set up the day before.)

$15 to shoot, 10 for OC members, and as always, free of charge to LEOs and active military. (Maybe $5 for a second gun, but depending on number of shooters.)

Divisions: Center fire pistol, revolver, rimfire pistol, and rimfire rifle, with open and iron sights division on each.

All dropping steel targets

(We will have a secondary match with 2 tactical stages for sequencing purposes as well. These will serve as our tie breaker.)

Round count is 170 minimum, assuming no misses, and depending how far you go on the one on one stage.


Lots of movement and reloads, but still 22 friendly.


If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match, but no pressure if you want to leave or can't help.


As always, we have plaques for 1st place winners (working on a ProAm exclusive new design for these.)

Here is what I'm thinking for stages.
3 of these are very similar to the ProAm Championship stages, and we have shot them before.

Still open to stage suggestions.

I think we have worn out the El Presidente stage, so I am replacing it with a bit of movement.
Also, adding 2 targets to the To Shoot or Not To Shoot stage.

The cowboys will be shooting on the Pistol Right bay, like they were on our last 5th Sunday match.
If you have never seen them in action, you could certainly check it out while waiting your turn on the To Shoot or Not to Shoot stage next door.

Well, it looks like we will have rain today and Monday.
But guess what? No rain on Sunday!


As always, we can shoot the One on One elimination drag race stage if enough of you want to stay after the match and we have put up the rest of the stages.
