5th Sunday ProAm this Sun 5-31-15 @ Oil Capital

ProAm match this Sunday 5-31-15 at Oil Capital Rod & Gun Club.
Please remember our new match fees.
It looks like the weather will cooperate with us.

The board has agreed to let us set up our targets the way we have run them in the past (this is great new regarding spatter and ricochets.)

Signup starts at 9:30am, and shooting at 10:00am.
$20 to shoot, $15for OC members, and as always, free of charge to LEOs and active military. (Maybe $5 for a second gun, but depending on number of shooters.)

Divisions: Center fire pistol iron sights, center fire pistol open, revolver, rimfire pistol iron sights, rimfire pistol optics, rimfire rifle iron sights, rimfire rifle optics, and shotgun.

All dropping steel targets. We will have a secondary match with 2 tactical stages for sequencing purposes as well. These will serve as our tie breaker.
One of the stages will be a one on one shoot-off drag race.
Will have COFs later this week.

Round count will be around 200.

Lots of movement and reloads, but still 22 friendly.

Anybody interested in participating with a 9, 40, or 45 carbine is welcome to do so (no necked cartridges.)

If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match, but no pressure if you want to leave or can't help.

As always, we have plaques for 1st place winners.

This is what I am thinking for stages.
We will shoot 7 stages.
One of the stages is one we have shot in the past; X-mas Tree. Whoever has the best score on this stage gets to shoot his/her next match for free. You can shoot any gun; not necessarily the one you are shooting the rest of the ProAm with.

Of course, any stage suggestions are always welcome.

As y'all know, for the past 2 years, the winners of the different ProAm match divisions at Oil Capital have had to reluctantly settle for Steel Challenge 1st Place Plaques. And, although highly coveted and wonderfully designed by our friends at Tulsa Signs, they ain't no ProAm plaques.
