This just in. I just got this information.

"3lb Trigger pull rule rescinded 9-0"

Glad to see them come to their senses

Long story short at the last USPSA meeting they passed a 3lb min requirement for production starting 2013 and a elephant dung storm ensued.

Ahhhhhh. So the trigger pull had to be more than 3 lb. Got it.

wow 9-0 that is surprising... although i could care less either way, it is nice to know that they are listening to the community!

+1 to whoop-ti-do.

I'm personally amused by Prod as a class. If it's supposed to be a class for guns that are "out of the box" then that means "out of the box". If it comes with a 2 stage 8lbs trigger then that's how you shoot it.

Of course I'm also amused by SS as a class also. IMO the platform shouldn't have to be a 1911, any single stack mag gun should qualify. Otherwise, rename the freaking class to 1911 and be done with it.

I just ordered a 2.5 lb kit for my gun, I guess I will have to call and cancel it, Is there a restriction in limited?
