FT/T Gibbs Enfield Quest 308 Jungle carbine SPTBG
These are pretty sweet rifles -- I have one in my safe. For anyone thinking about a decent 308 you can do a lot worse than these. They are built on an Ishapore platform; the Indian Ishies were designed for the 7.62 NATO from the get go. They have the smooth cycling enfield action and many are pretty accurate; most should hold 4 MOA with surplus NATO ammo. They are getting harder to find these days, too.
