Does anyone know of anyone that has some .224 bullets in stock for reloading? I prefer a cannelure 55gr. I prefer to buy by the thousand as well. Thanks!

Thats going to be a tough one considering the frenzy going on right now. My suggestion would be to put in an order at Powdervalley.com, or sgammo.com, and see what the wait time is.
They are getting componentents in all the time, and are filling backorders. If you go to their websights, you'll see they have none in stock. That means they have no excess but are still filling in orders. Good luck.

Check Montana Gold regularly. They show to be taking orders on 1/14/2013 for their 223 bullets, Midway shows 2/6/13 for the Hornady bullets. Only thing you can do is get in line and wait, then get in line again.
Get with your local guys and band together so you can keep shooting matches. It's bad enough the shooting community is trying to eat itself alive, don't get that way with your local group.

They removed it the other day... if you serious about getting anymore bulk bullets get a group of guys together and contact Manny USA, they have a 6 case (may be mixed) minimum. However they are a distributer for MG and have first preference in restocking. I just got in on another order with five other shooting buddies. BTW this advice was given to us, by several sources including one of our MG sponsored local shooters.Mitch Gibson said:

FYI I had a backorder for several thousand 55gr projectiles from Midway and just got an email reducing that backorder to 1000.

As of Saturday, Patriot Industries in Guthrie had BLC2 in on lb and 8 lb, a couple of lbs of H335, one pound of a new Alliant powder for AR15's, AA 2520 for 223 heavy bullets.
