What's a good commercial .223 or 5.56 round for up to 300 yard flashers? Our handloads are fine for hosing, but not acceptable for any distance and don't have time for a lot of work up right now.

The most accurate commercially sold ammo I have shot in almost all of my rifles is 69gr black hills reman. It runs about $.60-.70/round but it's sub MOA match ammo.

Italian made Fiocchi runs good in almost any barrel but I don't know if you can get it over there. We recently started getting american made Fiocchi here, which generally looks to be less accurate.
