We are proud to announce the dates for the 2nd Annual Missouri 3-Gun Championship presented by Black Dawn Guns and AR15.com. The 2016 match will be held March 19-20 at the Lead Farm 3-Gun Range outside Versailles, MO. It will feature 10 stages shot over the course of 2 days. We will have approximately 196 shooters, separated into 14 squads. Each squad will get a 1 hour break every 2-3 stages. Match fee is $195. Juniors shoot for $90.

This is a bay style match so range carts are encouraged. We do allow competitors to park close to the bays but once you are parked your truck needs to remain there for the day.

We can have rifle out to 600yds. Longest rifle shot will be posted once it has been decided on. Round count will be close to 150 rds for each gun. Actual round count and stages will be posted as the match gets closer.

We will be using Practiscore for registration as well as scoring the match. This will not only speed up the process of posting scores but also diminish the chance for human error during input.

Registration for this match will start on September 27th at 8:00 P.M. (Central Time) for last year’s participants and September 29th at 8:00P.M. for everyone else. We want to thank those who took a chance with us as a first year match and reward them for doing so. The match will be limited to the first 196 shooters. Squadding will take place a few weeks before the match. The exact date will be posted here as well as emailed to all the shooters. You will self-squad. If you do not squad yourself you will be placed on a squad with empty slots.

After you fill out the Practiscore form online you will get a return Email confirming what you submitted. If all is OK then there is nothing to do but send the funds to the listed address. You will be given 2 weeks to send in your match fee. If no funds are received you will be moved to the waitlist.
Match Shirts will be $20. They will be a Dri-Fit/Cool-Weave fabric shirt. Match shirts will be available at the event but in limited quantities. Order when you register to ensure you get one.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. This is a match run by shooters for shooters. We are always open to suggestions. Thanks!

I heard a lot of great things about this match last year. Wish I could attend.

I really liked the stages you guys did at Gen3gun. I can only imagine how fun an entire match would be with those kind of stages!!

Haven't seen a match yet that didn't have a few open up later on.

when will i be able to self squad?

check was mailed this week.

thanks

Sorry for the slow reply. Self squading will take place the first part of February. An email will be sent out a week before squading will take place as a notification as to when it will begin. Be sure you get squadded early if you plan on shooting with your buddies. If you do not squad yourself we will place you where you fit.

Squadding opens tonight at 8pm central time. If you deleted your personal match management link let me know. I would hate for you to not get the squad you want because you accidentally deleted your link.

I am holding off on posting the stages until they are on the ground and finalized. I have already had 2 that I had to change because a few things didn't work out. Here is a quick break down of some things you will want to know. Total slug count for the match will be 5 or less. You will need a sling for rifle on at least 1 stage. All pistol stage of 39rds. All shotgun stage of 35 rds. All rifle stage of 35rds. Option stage rivaling last years. We will have one rifle shot at 500 and 600 yards, targets will be 5 and 6 MOA respectively. You will also be shooting rifle from a canted position. I apologize for not getting the descriptions up sooner I just don't like posting something that may or may not happen. When they are posted they will be the same thing you see when you show up on match day.

Here are the stages for the match.

Round Counts are as follows.

Rifle: 117
Pistol: 122
Shotgun: 102
Slug: 7
Pistol/Shotgun: 20
Rifle/Pistol/Slug:24

You will need a sling for your rifle on one stage.

Half of the ROs have shot through. Stages are more challenging than last year with a little more long range rifle. Come prepared and have a good time. See everyone in a few days!

Here are the results from the RO's shooting. I will update again on Thursday after the remaining RO's shoot and again Friday afternoon when all RO's will be finished. Like last year the Match Director(Matt Loganbill) and Range Master(Josh Loganbill) are shooting for score but will not walk the prize table. See you all in a few days!
