2015 Contingency Program Discussion

Make up a rule where I can use my shirts from 2014. I have two real good-looking shirts that I would like to wear at more than the grocery store. My 2015 shirt is thrashed.

Question o in entries. Say you u shot 50 matches, that gets you 10 entries. Can you win 10 prizes, or is it a one prize per m member kind of thing?

lol.....we already have to deal with the fact that people get upset because someone that only shot a couple matches won a better prize. Can you imagine what we'd have to deal with if the guy that only shot 2 matches won 2 prizes?
Wait... What we can complain and contest last year's prizes?!
Who do I PM?

Ok... I was just messing around don't ban me please =)

I'm guilty of that as well Burk. Honestly, I'm a reader and try to take in more info than I feel qualified to share with others. If it makes anyone feel better, I don't post to Enos either lol! At the same time though, as far as the jersey goes, I don't feel comfortable at times because I feel that I'm being watched more closely. Whether it's for match advice or an expected placement, I think some shooters think the jersey is from sponsorship and I'm expected to be more than I am. With that being said, I do wear it with pride for the sponsors that are supporting this endeavor and act accordingly. Also, it's been great meeting some new friends that said hello just because of that jersey. No doubt the contingency has been good to me but the info from the forum has been just as valuable

I understand your hesitation, but truthfully I think we need to break that mentality. Even D Class shooters buy products. Just because we might suck at shooting doesn't take anything away from the products we are using.

It was a very bad feeling when I completely trashed a stage (We're talking 145 seconds after penalties on a stage that middle of the pack shooters shot in 45 seconds) and a guy from another squad walked up and said "You're sponsored by H&H? I love that store". We have no responsibility to represent the sponsors well, but I share the feeling that I'm being looked at more because of the jersey. Then again, that might just be the paranoia at work.

I tell people I'm in a bowling league or fishing tournament

The best one so far is a Bissell competition...oh wait that was a different story from Mr Hoover

What better way to represent a sponsor than by acting like a class act after trashing a stage. Hell, anyone can lay down a good run and be a dick about it

Seriously though. Acting like a grown up is better than shooting a good stage
