2013 Texas State Tactical Precision 3-Gun

Texas State Tactical/Ar15Targets will be hosting their 2nd annual Precision 3gun event on December 8, 2013 at the Copperhead Creek Shooting Club in Marble Falls TX. There will be two divisions based on the precision rifle, semi-auto and bolt rifle.

7 stage mix of bays and natural terrain utilizing handgun, carbine and a precision rifle. Shots out to 700yards. Estimated round count is currently 100 rounds of pistol, 100 carbine and 20 precision rifle. 9mm submachine guns and suppressors are allowed. Currently over $2500 worth of prizes and lunch is provided.

Match fee $50. Limited to 100 shooters and 21 ROs.

Paradise Helicopters/Heligunner will be on site offering aerial gunnery.

here's some info I got from the MD about the "precision" part

[SIZE=11pt]we are gearing this match to LET people break out their bolt guns for a competition, but it is by no means a requirement.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]The 500+ targets are going to be fairly decent sized, they will be IPSC c-zone (12”x24”) or larger, so they should be fairly visible and realistic with an AR with a decent optic.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]A good number of people typically use their AR as both the Carbine and the precision rifle, that puts them in the “semi auto” division which is basically the open division in this match, but it’s guaranteed to be a ton of fun no matter what![/SIZE]
