UPDATE: 2013 match registration opens on December 1, 2012

The registration form is available at the following link: 2013 Entry Form

Entries will be accepted in order of postmark until we reach capacity. Entries must be sent in via standard US mail, no special delivery or overnight service please. Entries received prior to December 1st will be put on the waiting list or returned as will entries sent by other than standard first class US mail. Match capacity has been increased to 130 for 2013. Last year we filled to capacity in 11 days so make sure you get your entry submitted in a timely manner.

When we process your entry we will send you an email confirmation with your competitor number and division/category information. Please let us know ASAP if anything is not as desired.

Once match capacity has been reached (130 competitors) all further entries received will be placed on the wait list in order of postmark. If you are placed on the waiting list we will notify you immediately and let you know what position you are in. If placed on wait list your entry fee check will be held and not cashed until you actually have a guaranteed slot. If you do not wish to remain on the wait list, just let us know and your entry fee check will be returned or shredded (at your choice).

Squadding requests will be honored as thoroughly as possible so make sure to note on your entry form who you wish to be squadded with. Squads will be filled as we process entries and we will publish a squad list once we have reached capacity and registration is closed. At that point there will be limited capability for making squad changes.

Scoring for 2013 will be USPSA Time Plus with no specific power factor rewarded..

The 2013 match will run a 2 day shooting format with sign-in on Friday, July 26 from 12pm until 5pm and again on Saturday morning from 8am until 9:30am. Competition will run from 10am until 5pm on Saturday and on Sunday from 8am until 2pm. Due to the increased shoot schedule the stages will be more complex and challenging than ever and the match round count will be in excess of 300. All competitors will shoot the stages across both days. There will be a minimum of 7 stages this year.

Competitors who wish to RO will now be able to compete with full inclusion in final awards and prizes. Competitor RO's will receive a free match entry if they RO on either of the match days and will get cash compensation in addition if they RO for both days. Competitor RO's will be fully included in the match awards process. Contact me directly to sign on as an RO. Competitor RO's will get priority in match registration. There will be a dedicated RO shoot day on Friday, July 26th and additional RO shooting will be finished throughout the weekend as the RO work schedule permits.

Match fee will be $120 for 2013 and more match amenities than ever will be provided in addition to the usual custom match T-Shirts and hats. There will be an extremely generous prize table in addition to plaques to a great depth for all divisions. We will also be featuring cash awards for specific placements.

In addition to the usual free snacks and beverages provided we will have a food vendor at the match on both days (this will be "no host" food vending, in other words, this will be at the competitors expense). It has been somewhat decided that this will be a top quality mexican food truck service.

I'm glad to see you stepping up and putting on some major matches this year, I know the guys in Richmond will really appreciate the help. What kind of Mexican food will it be? Are we talking tacos and burritos, or will it go much further like fajitas and carnitas? Let us know as the food might just entice me to attend.

I see someone forgot their meds again.

Do you need me to get you one of those pill boxes with the days of the week on it so you don't keep forgetting?

Are you kidding? With a real Mexican dinner on the line who needs medals....ahh...errr meds( darn phones ).
