2012 Ozark 3 Gun Championship, Ozark MO September 7-9th, 2012

It is not you. I can't even find where the match is actually being held? What Range?

Will 3-Gun Nation be at this match?

They will not be filming. It is a points series match only. They will be filming at ProAm and FNH then in Vegas for the remainder of this season.

squad list is out, i had requested to squad with some of you guys from the site, but looks like no dice...hopefully i'll get to meet some of you guys in person while i'm out there...

You can change squads through Monday afternoon. The final squad list will be emailed Monday night.
This event is not at a range. It's set up on a huge farm. All natural terrain stages. Check the BE thread for coordinates/directions.

Hello, as the match gets closer, I wanted to let you know of a few pieces of important information.
1. There will be a mandatory shooters meeting Friday at 7am, a biscuits and gravy breakfast will be served.
2. Lunch will be served everyday at the range.
3. There will be a "final shot" at the lake (stage 2) on Friday and Saturday evening at approximately 6pm.
4. There will be a banquet compliments of Adams Arms, at the Inn at Grand Glaize on Saturday at 7pm.

Hey man,

See you at the match this weekend.

My squad went to shoot stage (1) and we were told to hold up indefinitely, police came, said a round left the range and "went through this lady's house"... I guess no one was hurt or i'm sure they would have shut the whole match down. Match director said the stage was shut down and eliminated from the match. No ones exactly sure what happened, you would have had to hold like 8' over the far targets to get one over the berm on that stage, seems like an RO would have noticed something like that?

I guess this also ties back to the semi-pro thread because I over heard someone ask a noted semi-pro for a tip today and his reply was "don't shoot people's houses"...

This years match more than made up for the issues we saw last year. It was very evident that Kirk, Misty, the RO's and other staff were putting it all in to make this one a winner and it was.

The prize table was BIG. The number of complete long guns was around 20-25 between all 5 tables. There were several complete uppers. Stacks of upper/lower sets and stripped lowers.

IMHO This match has put itself back on the MUST shoot list in a big way.

Great job everyone!!!

Absolutely had a great time at this match and enjoyed meeting fellow BSers. As Jesse said, the prize tables were HUGE! Hopefully next time, I can win one of those long guns! Thanks to Kirk and crew for a memorable match!

Definitely a good time! Jay, it was great to meet you and some of the other guys from the site as well. Had a great squad and really enjoyed shooting with the whole Sanford clan (even Stone I suppose :) ). I'm putting it on my list of matches to attend again next year right now.
