This reads, The scoring will be in the IDPA format.
Does that affect how the match is shot, ie not dropping loaded mags on the ground?
Just curious.

On Enos someone stated Carbine only.
Is an 18" AR a Carbine?

Chambers is correct they just mean they are using that gahey IDPA scoring format with -0, -1, -3, FTN etc. No trench coat will be required for a cover garment nor will you have to reload behind cover.
 
I shot it last year and it was fun but didn't have much of a prize table. I think I randomly drew an $80 Surefire flashlight. They stages where fun. Their long range is only 100 yards. I believe the match admin has changed this year to Ty Gentry, Benny Hill and crew so that should be a good thing as they shoot a lot of big matches. Im Definitely going again. I need some redemption.

Should be worth the trip. It's at a different range this time, think they will probably shoot farther.
 
Oh yeah I forgot about the range change. I hope they have some real long range this year. Now if I could only remember if I sent in my application already.

Last year it was a one day match. I flew down the night before and flew out at right after the match. Southwest flys to corpus cheap.
