1911 in 9mm

Are 1911 pistols in 9mm less reliable than in 45acp?

I have two and almost 10,000 rounds through them combined. Had one fail to return to battery on the second round fired with my CQB Commander, the other has not had a single malfunction. So from my experience, they are fairly reliable. :)

Dwe, I don't recall having said any such thing. What I will say is only shoot appropriate caliber ammo in your guns. Also, to get around all the rigamaroll, just shoot .38super comp brass in your super.
