18 1/2 inch barrel?

Is this too short for 3Gun? I can get a Mossberg 930 with that door buster thingy right now. I'm thinking screw that thing off, put in a choke tube and magazine extension, and I'm shooting.

Id say wait. If that is what you had id say shoot it. But dont buy something you're going to want to replace immediately.

The LGS has them on order. I'm just getting antsy. They have a whole wall of AR's, and I cannot get a shotgun. (That I want)

24" is the shortest I would go for a 3 gun shotgun. I run the 26" myself and am very happy I went with the longer barrel for the extra velocity. It's really helped out on stubborn steel.

I had an 18 1/2" barrel and it was light but I would run one choke tighter than in my 21" barrel.

I would take TacK9's advice and buy right the first time.

Finding something like this M1 for under $750 is always my first choice.
