Anyone have a beater project you decided not to finish? Even just the receiver parts. I think instead of doing a .22 AR I'd rather stick with a trusty 10/22 custom build.

I have a couple of blue (black) barrels probably on old Ruger wood stock and I think a spare bolt. No receiver or FC parts tho.

I'd be glad to take the bolt off your hands. If I can't find a deal I like on a complete rifle I'll piece one together. I was going to modify it a lot anyway so piecing it together is just as good.

If you look carefully you can find a lightly used one around 2 bills. Or you can order a new one at WalMart for $250, IIRC.
